Brief:
Mary Sees Red was a series of interactive and recorded poems exploring Jackson’s philosophical allegory that explores the concept experiential knowledge.
This piece sat inside Linney’s and Whittle’s physical safe space inspired from the stories of the Girl Gang community to the question: How does it feel to wear red?
They reimagined ‘Mary’s Room’ as a monochromed insular study space inspired by Keisha Thompson’s hidden poems.
