In addition to writing and performance, Keisha also has a passion for education and mathematics. She is a trained mathematics teacher, has worked in the Arts Council’s Children and Young People’s department and was the Senior Learning Programme Manager for The World Reimagined.
Most recently, she has received the DARE Art Award to explore her project DeCipher. This allows her ask the question - how can be an advocate for maths as an artist?
She is also working with University of Manchester as an associate researcher on project focusing on community mathematics. Previously, She is an Artist Researcher at Esplanade Theatre in Singapore, researching mathematical pedagogy.
